Pidzamche lies below the High Castle: brick buildings from the end of the nineteenth century and former industrial premises, some of them converted into flats and offices. An old building with no lift stands next to a loft in a former workshop, and the two are cleaned differently.

Old brick and converted lofts
In nineteenth-century buildings the ceilings are high and the windows large — a window takes longer here than in a panel block, though it costs the same UAH 320. The tops of cupboards and the cornices need a step ladder (UAH 599).
In lofts the difficulty is the exposed surfaces: brick walls, steel beams and pipes under the ceiling collect dust that cannot be seen from below. Those areas are worth flagging when booking, otherwise the cleaner works to the standard list.

Heating and windows in winter
Old brick buildings have large windows, often with wooden frames, and condensation forms on them in winter.
