How we count rooms and what the price is built from

The price is built from zones, not hours

The most common question about price is what an hour of work costs. With us an hour costs nothing — the total is built from what actually has to be cleaned. Every zone has its own price and they simply add up.

• A room — UAH 400
• A bathroom — UAH 450
• The kitchen — UAH 600
• The hallway — UAH 100

That is where "from UAH 1,550" comes from: a one-bedroom flat is a room, a bathroom, a kitchen and a hallway — 400 + 450 + 600 + 100.

What counts as a room

A room is a separate living space: a bedroom, a living room, a child's room, a study. Two bedrooms come to UAH 1,950 and three to 2,350 — each time one more room at 400 is added to the base.

An open-plan kitchen-living room counts as a kitchen plus a room, because they are two different zones of work even without a wall between them. A walk-in wardrobe is a separate item at 299; a storage cupboard counts as part of the hallway.

Bathrooms

Each bathroom is counted separately at UAH 450. A separate bath and WC are two; a combined one is one. In a flat with two bathrooms the base rises by exactly 450, and you see it in the form before confirming.

Why not by the hour

Hourly pricing suits the contractor rather than the client: the longer the work takes, the larger the bill, and there is no way to check it. Priced by zone, you see the total before the visit and it does not change with how long the work actually took.

There is one exception: if a flat has not been cleaned for months and there is objectively more work, we propose an additional hour at UAH 450 — in advance, not at the end.

Houses

The same formula with a 1.2 coefficient: stairs between floors add work but do not change how the price is built. See house cleaning prices.
