A sofa is cleaned at your home with an extractor: the solution is injected into the fibre under pressure and drawn straight back out with whatever it lifted. This is not surface washing — which is why the water in the tank comes back dark and the sofa both looks and smells different afterwards.
What it costs
The price is per sofa, not per square metre or per hour:
- two-seat — UAH 1,299;
- three-seat — UAH 1,399;
- corner — from UAH 1,499 depending on the number of seats (1,499 / 1,599 / 1,699);
- children's sofa — UAH 899;
- upholstered headboard — UAH 699.
The minimum order for upholstery cleaning is UAH 2,000, so a sofa is usually booked together with a carpet (UAH 130 per square metre), a mattress or the chairs. We do not send a cleaner out for a single item below the minimum: the travel and the machine cost the same whatever the volume.
How long it takes and when you can sit down
Cleaning a two-seat sofa takes about an hour. Drying depends on the fabric and the airflow: four to eight hours, longer in winter. An open window and a fan speed it up; a closed room slows it down.
So an evening booking means the sofa is not sleepable that night. If it is the only sofa in the flat, take a morning slot.
What comes out and what does not
Extraction works on what has soaked into the fibre: everyday soiling, worn armrests, coffee or juice marks, pet odour.
It does not remove hair dye, sun-bleached areas, old stains that have already been attacked with household chemicals, or damage — pulls, cuts, fabric worn through to the backing. We say so before the visit, not after.
The fabric decides
Most upholstery — hopsack, chenille, microfibre — takes extraction without restriction. Velour and flock need care: the pile must not be pressed or rubbed against its direction. Real leather is not cleaned by extraction at all, and we say plainly that it is not our service.
A label under the seat marked S means solvent cleaning only — water leaves rings on such fabric that are more visible than the stain.
What to do before the cleaner arrives
Three things are enough. Take off the cushions and throws that are not part of the order, or the first minutes go on clearing them. Vacuum if there is a lot of pet hair: the extractor works on what is in the fibre, not on what lies on top. And clear the approach from one side — the machine has to be wheeled in.

Questions and answers
How long does a sofa take to dry?
Four to eight hours depending on the fabric and ventilation. Faster with an open window and a fan, slower in a closed room.
Will the pet smell go?
The surface odour, yes. If urine has gone through the cover into the foam, a second treatment is needed, and we say so before the visit.
Why can't I book just the sofa at UAH 1,299?
The minimum order is UAH 2,000. A sofa is usually taken with a carpet or a mattress to reach it.
Do you clean leather sofas?
No. Leather is not cleaned by extraction, and there is no item for it in our price list.
