Upholstered furniture is not part of a normal clean: within a visit it is vacuumed, but wet cleaning of the pile is a separate service with different equipment. The distinction matters — a vacuum lifts what sits on the fabric, an extractor pulls out what soaked into it.
What it costs
- two-seat sofa — UAH 1,299, three-seat — 1,399;
- corner sofa — from 1,499 to 1,699 depending on the number of seats;
- armchair — 450, office chair — 299, dining chair — 199;
- mattress: one side 600, a double both sides 1,799;
- upholstered headboard — 699.
The minimum order for upholstery work is UAH 2,000, so one item is usually paired with another: a sofa with a carpet (130 per square metre) or a mattress with the chairs.
How it works
The solution is injected into the fibre under pressure and drawn straight back out with whatever it lifted. The fabric is left damp and dries in four to eight hours depending on the material and the airflow.
So a sofa is booked for the morning rather than the evening: it cannot be slept on damp, and a closed room takes twice as long to dry as one with an open window.
What comes out and what does not
Everyday soiling, worn armrests, food and drink marks and surface pet odour come out. Hair dye, sun bleaching and damage to the fabric — pulls, cuts, pile worn to the backing — do not.
The fabric decides
Hopsack, chenille and microfibre take extraction without restriction. Velour and flock need care: the pile must not be pressed against its direction. Real leather is not cleaned by extraction at all — there is no item for it in our price list, and we say so before the booking.
A label under the seat marked S means solvent cleaning only: water leaves a ring at the edge of the treated area.
How often
A sofa in a home without animals once a year, with animals twice. A mattress twice a year — there the reason is dust mites in the filling, and it is their residue rather than visible dirt that provokes a reaction.
What to do before we arrive
Take off anything not in the order and clear the approach from one side: the machine has to be wheeled in. If the sofa folds out and the sleeping surface needs cleaning, say so when booking — the opened mechanism adds area and time.
