Cleaning a room is not «wiping everything» but a specific order of work. Dust on the high surfaces first, then the furniture, then the floor: do it the other way round and the dust from above lands on a floor you have just washed.
What is included
- dust from horizontal surfaces: shelves, chest of drawers, desk, bedside tables, electronics;
- window sill, radiators outside, skirting;
- mirrors and glass doors;
- switches, door handles and the area around them;
- vacuuming the carpet and floor, then a damp pass;
- a made bed and a folded throw.
What the cleaner does not do
Does not put personal belongings away, does not sort papers on the desk and does not open wardrobes. That is the boundary of the service: a cleaner cleans surfaces rather than deciding where someone else's thing belongs.
If sorting is exactly what you need, it is agreed separately and charged as an extra hour (UAH 450) rather than squeezed into the visit.
The tops of wardrobes and light fittings
Not part of a base clean: they need a step ladder (UAH 599 if there is none in the flat). Dust there builds up for years and is only visible from a chair — but it is what returns to the room every time a window is opened.
Electronics and screens
The TV and monitor are wiped with dry microfibre and no product: alcohol and ammonia strip the anti-glare coating. The back panel and the cables are vacuumed with a nozzle — there is more dust there than on the screen.
Sills and radiators
The two fastest-soiling surfaces in a room. Street dust settles on the sill, and in winter condensation joins it. Radiators collect baked-on dust between the sections over a heating season — that is the source of the «warm dust» smell when the heating first comes on.
Curtains and textiles
Curtains are not taken down or washed within a clean — they are vacuumed with a nozzle if they collect hair. Throws are folded and pillows plumped. Laundry is separate logistics, and we say plainly that it is not our service.
A child's room
The same order with two differences: toys go into the containers that already exist, unsorted, and no strongly scented products are used. If the child has allergies, say so — the cleaner will work without perfumed chemicals.
How long it takes
A room is 20–30 minutes with regular cleaning. If the flat has not been cleaned for months the first visit runs longer, and the extra hour is agreed in advance.
How to book
Rooms are part of a flat clean: a one-room flat is UAH 1,550, a two-room 1,950. Prices are in the prices section.
