Kitchen Cleaning in Lviv — What Exactly We Clean

A kitchen differs from the rest of a flat in one way: grease. It settles as a film on cupboard fronts, the extractor hood and the tops of units, and it is the reason a kitchen cannot be cleaned with the same product as a bedroom.

What a base clean covers

• worktop, splashback and the sink with its tap;
• cupboard fronts outside, handles, switches;
• appliances outside: fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher;
• the extractor hood outside, the cooker and the hob;
• dining table and chairs, window sill, floor, skirting;
• rubbish and a new bin liner.

What is booked separately

Everything inside: the oven at UAH 499, the fridge at 450, the hood with its filter at 350, cupboards inside at 800. This is not billing sleight of hand: appliances inside take as long as the rest of the kitchen together.

A deep kitchen clean

When the grease no longer wipes off, there is a separate service — a deep kitchen clean at UAH 2,800. It covers what the base clean does not: cupboards inside, appliances inside, the hood with its filter, the tops of units and the area behind the cooker.

The tops of units and the hood

The two areas skipped most often. On top of the cupboards grease mixes with dust and within a year becomes a layer no ordinary product touches — it needs an alkaline cleaner and dwell time. The hood filter goes in the dishwasher or soaks in hot water with soda; left for six months it halves the extraction and the grease goes to the ceiling.

Sink and tap

A stainless sink carries two different marks: greasy streaks and limescale by the drain. The first come off with detergent, the second with an acidic product — which is why a sink often looks half-cleaned after one pass. The tap is wiped dry: drops left to dry by themselves are exactly the deposit that later needs acid.

How long it takes

The kitchen within a normal clean is 40–60 minutes. A deep kitchen clean is two to three hours and is a separate visit rather than an add-on.

What we do not do

We do not dismantle appliances, take the hood off the wall or clean the ventilation duct behind it. If there is no draw with a clean filter, the duct is the problem and a cleaner is not the answer.
