Post-renovation cleaning in Sknyliv

Sknyliv is new residential complexes along the main streets and houses at the edge, so cleaning after building work here almost always means the first clean of new housing rather than the refresh of old. The rate is UAH 150 per square metre, minimum order 3,000.

What it costs

A 50 m² flat is UAH 7,500, 70 m² is 10,500. A 120 m² house is 18,000 and a 150 m² house 22,500; the terrace, garage and boiler room are separate items rather than being folded into the square metres.

A window after building work is UAH 450 instead of 320, and a house has two or three times more of them than a flat of the same living space.

Gated complexes

Worth mentioning when booking: without a pass or a call to security the visit starts with waiting at the barrier, and that time comes out of your slot rather than ours.

The second thing is the goods lift. In new complexes it often runs to a schedule or needs a key from the concierge, and the equipment for post-renovation cleaning is heavy — carrying it up to the eighth floor is half an hour before the work starts.

Houses

A house almost always needs two visits and a team of two or three. The order of work decides more than speed: top down and from the far room towards the door, stairs last, or dust from the upper floor settles on the cleaned ground floor.

Before moving in and after

In the new builds of Sknyliv cleaning is usually booked twice, and these are two different services rather than one at two prices. The first is after the building work, before the furniture arrives, when every surface is reachable; it is priced by area. The second is maintenance cleaning after you move in; it is priced by rooms and starts at UAH 1,550.

What the rate covers

Construction dust from every surface including the tops of cupboards, radiators, reveals and door frames; the floor in three or four passes; mortar, filler and paint off tiles, glass and sanitary ware; ventilation grilles and window drainage slots.

When to call

A day after the crew leaves, once the bulk of the dust has settled. Cleaning on the last day of the work means airborne dust lands on surfaces that were just cleaned.

What we do not do

We do not remove building waste, do not clean the facade or the roof and do not work at height beyond a step ladder.
