Frankivskyi district puts post-war blocks in Novyi Lviv, private houses in Kulparkiv and new developments in Persenkivka next to each other — and building work in each leaves a different job behind. The rate is the same throughout: UAH 150 per square metre, minimum order 3,000.
What it costs
A 45 m² flat is UAH 6,750, 60 m² is 9,000, 80 m² is 12,000. A house is priced at the same rate, but stairs, a terrace and a boiler room add surfaces a flat does not have.
A window after building work is UAH 450 instead of 320. The oven (499), hood (350), fridge (450) and cupboards inside (800) are separate items.
New builds in Persenkivka
Here it is mostly developer hand-overs being fitted out: cement dust in the joints, mortar on the floor, film and tape on the window profiles. The windows take longer than they look: film that has been in the sun for a year comes away in pieces, each of which has to be lifted separately.
The second thing about new builds is the temporary electricity supply during fit-out. A powerful vacuum trips the breaker, so it is worth saying in advance — the cleaner will plan around the power available.
Post-war blocks in Novyi Lviv
High ceilings mean the cornices, the tops of cupboards and the light fittings cannot be reached without a step ladder — a separate item at UAH 599 if there is none in the flat. Dust after building work settles precisely on those high surfaces, and without a ladder half the job is not done at all.
The second is the parquet. In these blocks it is often original and must not be flooded: it is cleaned almost dry with a neutral product and no abrasive.
Private houses in Kulparkiv
For a house allow two visits and a full day for each. The stairs are the dustiest zone: dust settles on every tread and on the handrail, and they have to be cleaned top down more than once.
How many visits and when to call
After a full fit-out two visits are needed: a rough clean as soon as the crew leaves and a final one before the furniture arrives, with at least a day between them — cement and gypsum dust settles slowly.
After cosmetic work in a single room one visit is enough, but call after the walls have been sanded: any earlier and the job has to be repeated in full.
What the rate covers
Dust from every surface, the floor in three or four passes with the water changed, mortar and paint marks off tiles and floors, sanitary ware, ventilation grilles and window drainage slots packed with filler.
