Window cleaning in the Shevchenkivskyi district

Shevchenkivskyi holds two different kinds of window in one district: the glazing of the new builds in Zboishcha, Holosko and Riasne, and ordinary units in the older housing of Zamarstyniv. The price is the same — UAH 320 per window including glass, frame and sill — but the work is not.

What the price covers

• glass on both sides where the sash opens;
• the frame, hardware and seal;
• the sill;
• the drainage slots at the bottom of the profile.

A balcony is UAH 250 and balcony glazing is counted by section. Insect screens are a separate item: taken out, cleaned flat and put back.

New builds: glazing and fixed sashes

In floor-to-ceiling glazing most sections are fixed and do not open at all. From the inside such glass is cleaned in full; outside, only the part your arm reaches through the neighbouring opening sash. The rest is rope access, which we do not offer.

The second thing about new builds is film on the profile. If the flat has just been handed over by the developer, the window counts as post-renovation: UAH 450 instead of 320, because film, tape and primer splashes come off by hand and paint off the glass with a blade on wet glass.

Older housing in Zamarstyniv

The opposite case: the windows are small but often wooden, with two rows of sashes. They are cleaned with minimal water and take longer — up to half an hour instead of fifteen minutes. The price does not change.

Lift, floor and carrying

In the new buildings of Zboishcha and Holosko the lift often runs to a schedule or needs a key from the concierge, and during the move-in period it is switched off altogether. The cleaner carries the water and equipment, so put the floor and the state of the lift in the order. In old Zamarstyniv there is no lift at all.

What decides the time

The number of screens and the state of the sills. Three insect screens add about half an hour, and a sill covered with plants and appliances eats the first minutes of the visit — time you pay for.

When to clean

Twice a year: in spring after the heating season and in autumn before it. In Riasne and Zboishcha, while construction continues nearby, the glass clouds over within weeks — a regular schedule there only makes sense once the work is finished.
