Lychakivskyi district is the old housing along Lychakivska street plus a large area of private houses in Pohulianka, Znesinnia and Pasiky. Bookings here are therefore more often for a house than a flat, and they are priced not by area but per window: UAH 320 including the glass, frame and sill.
What a house comes to
A private house has two or three times more windows than a flat of the same living space: ten windows are UAH 3,200, fifteen are 4,800. Count them in the order form in advance so the total is not a surprise on the day.
A glazed terrace is counted by section, like a balcony. Roof windows are per unit, but only those reachable from inside with a step ladder.
Wooden frames
Early twentieth-century houses on Lychakiv often keep their wooden windows with two rows of sashes. They are cleaned with as little water as possible: timber absorbs moisture and the sashes are often already dried out. Up to half an hour per window, the same price.
Old putty by the glass crumbles under pressure, so the squeegee is drawn without force and the corners are finished by hand.
What to allow for in a house
First, the ladder. Second-floor windows are cleaned from the sill inside, but transoms and tall sashes need a step ladder (UAH 599 if there is none). Second, access: in an area of private houses you cannot always drive up to the gate, and the cleaner carries the equipment from the car.
Terrace and porch
A glazed terrace is counted by section and added as a separate item — in Pohulianka and Pasiky it is the most common addition to a window booking. We do not clean the porch or outdoor steps: that is work on the grounds rather than in the house.
When to clean
Twice a year, and in an area of private houses spring matters most — after winter the glass carries a mix of street dust and de-icer brought in from the road. Autumn adds leaves in the drainage slots, which we clear as part of a normal clean.
What we do not do
We do not clean windows from outside the frame and do not work at height beyond a step ladder. For a second floor that means we clean from the inside, and the outer face only where the sash opens.
