Window cleaning in the Frankivskyi district

Frankivskyi district holds every type of Lviv housing at once, so window cleaning here looks different every time: tall wooden frames in the post-war blocks of Novyi Lviv, glazed sections in the new builds of Persenkivka, private houses in Kulparkiv with ten windows each. The price is one — UAH 320 per window including glass, frame and sill.

What the price covers

• glass on both reachable sides;
• the frame, hardware and seal;
• the sill;
• the drainage slots at the bottom of a plastic profile.

A balcony is UAH 250, glazing by section. Insect screens are a separate item: taken out, cleaned flat and put back.

Post-war blocks in Novyi Lviv

High ceilings mean tall windows: the upper transom is often above head height and cannot be reached without a step ladder. Flats do not always have one, and then it is added to the order for UAH 599.

The frames here are wooden, with two rows of sashes. They are cleaned with minimal water and take longer — up to half an hour instead of fifteen minutes — at the same price: it is per window, not per hour.

New builds in Persenkivka

A different job: glazed sections, most of them fixed. From the inside they are cleaned in full; outside, only the part your arm reaches through the neighbouring opening sash.

If the flat has just been handed over and film is still on the profile, the window counts as post-renovation — UAH 450 instead of 320.

Private houses in Kulparkiv

Ten windows are UAH 3,200, fifteen are 4,800. Count them in the order form in advance: a house has twice as many windows as its living area suggests. A glazed terrace is counted by section.

What decides the time

Not the floor and not the size of the window, but two things: how many insect screens have to come out, and how clear the approach is. Three screens add about half an hour, and a sill covered with plants eats the first minutes — time you pay for.

How long it takes

A plastic window is 15–20 minutes including frame and sill, an old wooden one up to half an hour. A flat with three windows is about an hour; a house with ten is half a working day and is best booked for the morning.

When to clean

Twice a year — in spring after the heating season and in autumn before it. Along the railway that crosses the district the glass soils noticeably faster, and a third visit in summer is worth it there.
